I don't think so: This is a very specific question and is likely best answered by your physician and clinical dietitian. In general, dietary adjustments to include foods high in salt, potassium and magnesium are needed.  The nutritional label suggests that Bragg's apple cider vinegar is high in potassium, so I would think a reasonable serving of this would be fine.  Again, your nutritionist can help. Good wishes:)

Yes: That should not be a problem, it is always better to dilute apple cider in a cup of water to protect your tooth enamel.

No: It's a hokey "remedy" promoted for literally everything but isn't going to hurt you, other than perhaps upsetting your stomach.

hello! i take potassium 120mg and 400mg magnesium supplements once a day, and a table spoon of apple cider vinegar before every food. now i need to go on accutane 20 mg per day, i want to be sure i can continue this routine with no issues?

: The only medication you should not take with Accutane is Vitamin A. The doctor prescibing the Accutane should go over that with you.

i have pcos and nutritionist recommended dietary changes and consuming a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water daily. i read acv can lower potassium would a tablespoon a day do that ?

: If you are taking a usual mixed diet, a tablespoon of vinegar will not lower your potassium. Incidentally, taking vinegar has not medicinal effect.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

can i crush up amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium tablet into yogurt or apple sauce? will it still be effective? (for ear and throat infection)

Yes, of course!: But it won't keep the doctor away. However, the more fruits & vegetables that you eat each day, the better off you'll be. Many many studies have linked greater consumption of fruits & veggies to lower all-cause mortality. And don't forget to exercise regularly. That helps, too.

can you be allergic to apples?

Yes.: But it is more common to have a problem only with raw apple, particularly the peeling, due to oral allergy syndrome.  This is caused by an allergy to birch tree pollen.  Some of the proteins in the apple peel are similar enough to birch tree pollen proteins to cause a "cross reaction."   usually this causes only mouth and throat symptoms.  Talk to your allergist for more info.

is apple butter good for you?

Accepted Answer

No: Fruit in its natural state has a much lower glycemic index (the impact on your blood sugar) than fruit which is turned into sauce, "butter," jam, jelly, dried, juiced or cooked.  That said, if you are not a diabetic, a little apple butter on some whole wheat toast, perhaps with a protein source like eggs, would not be bad for you.
