Not all related: The popping of the ears can be easily explained by Eustachian tube opening when you swallow.  This is absolutely normal and you are just aware of a normal physiological activity.  The slight dizziness is too non-specific to comment on.  Both of these symptoms are probably not related to the visual disturbance.  But certainly consult an eye physician for the latter problem.

Poss Vestibulitis: If you are also having symptoms of a Sinus infection, it is likely that you developed secondary Vestibular neuritis  or labyrinthitis. These are disorders that result in inflammation of the inner ear and the nerve connecting the inner ear to the brain. They are usually caused by a viral infection, leading to vertigo, dizziness, and sometimes visual disturbance. See Dr if symptoms persist or worse.

Unlikely: Pineal cysts grow or progress over time. Your symptoms however is worrisome since it may be interfering with your sensory. I would strongly follow up with a neurosurgeon.

Be seen: There are multiple potential causes and it may not be from just one cause.  Certainly would want to be seen and thoroughly evaluated for an accurate diagnosis.

Almost non-existent: Temporal arteritis is a vascular disorder seen in a far older age group, and would be associated with elevation of sed rate and/or c reactive protein.  Your symptoms might more likely suggest sinus issues, or perhaps dental condition.  Doubt temporal arteritis.

But at age 45, also consider a blood vessel issue, such as carotid stenosis, or transient ischemic problems in blood flow to brain.  Talk to your doctor about some simple screening tests.

Yes: Yes astigmatism can cause visual disturbances. In most cases this can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses. In very severe cases sometimes surgery is necessary.
