Ask your GYN: You need to discuss this with your GYN. It sounds like you are. It ovulating. If not, you do not make progesterone. Giving you progesterone will regulate your cycle, but also decrease your risk af abnormal bleeding and uterine cancer.

Pregnancy/progestins: A threatened miscarriage with hx bleeding between 6-8 weeks of pregnancy secondary to inadequate progesterone production by the placenta, does not require progesterone after uneventful progression to "21 weeks" of pregnancy.  Ask for a second opinion by a referral to another OB physician or inquire of your present OB physician about continued progesterone treatment.

Some: Dizziness is not a side effect of progesterone. The point is what are u trying to achieve? 1.Pregnancy: you need to ovulate and Clomid (clomiphene) is a much better treatment than for ovulation induction. After you ovulate you may not need Progesterone because u will make it on your own or 2.Regulate the cycles: birth control pills are much better options than progesterone.

Let me help you: While most women have no problems with prometrium, (micronized progesterone) side effects may occur during treatment. The most common side effects include dizziness, headaches, and cramping. Potentially dangerous side effects are also possible. If you develop any of these serious side effects of prometrium, (micronized progesterone) such as migraines or yellowing of the skin, contact your healthcare provider right away.

Doxazasin: Yes.  All drugs in this class ( Alpha  blockers) can cause postural hypotension and/or dizziness.  This can occur even after taking it for some time.

MECLIZINE: Antivert (meclizine) will help control dizziness if caused by the Casodex (bicalutamide).  Meclizine can be ordered on prescription but is also available over the counter, so ask your pharmacist to help you.

Cozaar (losartan) dose: If you find yourself being dizzy on Cozaar (losartan) (c), speak to your physician about it. C is given to people without hypertension to reduce their proteinuria and when they take it they do not get low bp. You should ask your physician if your dose should be cut to 50 twice/day. Speak to your physician to see what can be done to find the cause oft your dizziness.
