Sugar levels: Keep a check on your sugar levels .your sugars may be fluctuating rather quickly after eating . There may be a no of factors playing the role , for example what kind of food you are eating or the portion sizes of food .so please see your PCP to have a thorough evaluation and bolo testing .

Eating dates can : Cause your blood sugar to go way down ( reactive hypoglycemia ) or go way up ( diabetic) I suggest you see a doctor to have a 3 hour glucose tolerance test run.

Doubtful relation: Assuming that by dizziness you mean a sensation of spinning or tilting or loss of balance, it is more likely that you have same symptoms at other times also i.E without eating chocolate as well. See an ENT and medications can control your vertigo.

Several poss. causes: Dizziness after eating can be associated with a number of medical issues, most commonly postprandial hypoglycemia, where blood sugar levels drop after eating.
Other causes include postprandial hypotension (low blood pressure after a meal), kidney or thyroid disease, and gastritis or reflux.  There are others but this is a good place to start. I would rec. A visit to your doctor for further tests.

Blood pooling: Some people, after eating might feel dizzy as most of the blood goes around GI system to help food digest ie less blood going to the brain and some might feel dizzy. You might lie down after a meal for 1/2 hour to see if that is helpful.

Could be: post prandial hypoglycemia, an early sign of diabetes.  If your symptoms persist, get to your doctor to have tests for diabetes, especially if you have a family history for it.

Blood pressure? : Sometimes eating causes the blood pressure to go down.  That can cause nausea and dizziness.  Or you could have a stomach problem, such as reflux or even stomach emptying problems.
