It can accompany it: Anxiety isn't an automatic side effect of diverticulitis, but i've known people who get very anxious about having another possible attack.  Some get extremely anxious about their diets, having been told by their physicians that eating nuts and seeds can exacerbate it. Rare, but possible.: Following partial colectomy for diverticular disease, there is a 10% chance of having another episode of diverticulitis.  However, this usually occurs on the left side of the abdomen.

May be: Isolated right side diverticulitis with out left  side is unusual, except congenital cecal diverticulam ( single ) , you may have it  , when inflammation subsides must have colonoscopy it mimics appendicitis , is  a true diverticulum contains all layers of bowel , for  recurrent attacks will need surgery.

See a doctor: He may have a new bout of diverticulitis. Also, scarring of the colon from diverticulitis can cause enough narrowing of the colon that it blocks up (obstructs). Your husband needs to be reevaluated.

Yes: Diverticulitis most commonly presents as left lower quadrant pain and fever. Nausea is less common, but can occur. These symptoms can also be seen in pelvic inflammatory disease.

Depends: This is why gastroenterologists spend multiple years training after medical school.  To help them learn how to tell what is required for each individual patient.  Every clinical situation is different and sometimes the approaches are different for individual doctors.  Discuss this with the endoscopist.

Yes, diverticulitis : Is one possiblity, but it could be kidney stones, ovarian problem, or even colon cancer.  It would be best to see a doctor for this.
