Often: It really depends on the specific neurologic symptoms but often IV Rocephin (ceftriaxone) is needed as oral antibiotics do not cross the blood-brain barrier.

The Diagnosis: of Grave's disease is made when a number of clinical symptoms/signs are confirmed with blood measurements as well as uptake studies. A single one of these is insufficient in making the diagnosis. ANY SINGLE test does NOT exclude the Diagnosis!

Weakness: Multifocal motor neuropathy with conduction block, inclusion body myositis, myotonic dystrophy, motor neuron disease and cervical spine disorder are among the neuromuscular conditions that could lead to atrophy with hand grip weakness.  A neurologist with neuromuscular training may help you to find out the cause of your symptoms.

Graves Disease: Most people with graves disease are overweight due the stimulation of their appetite from xs thyroid hormone. It may seem counterintuitive because you also have increased metabolic needs but it's true. Hopefully, now that your thyroid is getting under control, you can start the new year with new resolve to count calories and take some weight off gradually over the next 12 months.

: Using cannabis "once" will not cause the cardiac abnormalities cited in your question. Generally, overuse of cannabis may just uncover cardiac defects not obvious previously. Get a referral to a cardiologist for a complete workup as soon as possible.

Biopsy definitive.: In regards to celiac disease, the biopsy is more diagnostically reliable than the blood test, so if the blood test showed typical evidence of celiac disease, I'd believe it.
