Sounds muscles: Muscle sprain of your chest/abdominal wall can cause this, warm compresses and pain killers, unless contraindicated, if no improvement see your doctor, good luck

Left fib cage pain: The left lower rib cage area contains stomach. Sleep and lungs. The bloating and gas suggests gastritis or peptic ulcer disease. Inflammation of pancreas is a possiblity. Does not appear to be pleurisy or pneumonia. Advise evaluation by a physician for physical exam and further work up.

Ultimately, you need full evaluation by neurology, orthopedics, PMR for pain, and addiction treatment for alcoholism.

R/O KIDNEY STONE: Flank pain with those symptoms is concerning for kidney stone /bladder stone or kidney infection. You need a full exam labs urine C&amp;S. 24 urine for stone analysis kidney ultrasound or CT.. And usually empiric antibiotic therapy pending the results. Make sure to strain your urine and try to capture any debris , it may be a kidney stone. Push fluids.also get screen for clotting disorders

Pain: Your description does not he me give you a definitive diagnosis. It could be myofascial and probably is. I would try an anti inflammatory such a Ibuprofen 400mg once daily with food fora week and if this does not help see a physician to get a definitive diagnosis

Nausea,vomiting: This could be due to gastritis which is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach. Pancreatic pathology is another possibility. Try omitting alcohol,caffeine,nicotine, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen. Take omeprazole as directed. Ginger for nausea. If no improvement within a week or if symptoms worsen, see a physician or gastroenterologist for evaluation.

i have pain and discomfort that comes and go in the right iliac area and up to lower rib cage for more than 6 months what could it be?

Could be a number of: Possibilities, like a chronic appenditis, a kidney stone caught in the ureter, a pelvic problem, enlarged lymph nodes in the abdomen in that area.
See your pcp and probably a general surgeon for proper evaluation.
