Yes: Bico is vitamin B and Petogen is progesterone. There is no interaction  with these medications

Petogen: As far as I can see - its still being produced. The real issue is whether the doctors still use it. It has not been taken off the market

Depo-Provera: I believe Petogen is Depo-Provera in the states.  You have to see a doctor to get the injection - usually a GYN doctor.  If you have no health insurance there are Health Department clinics that can provide you with low cost / free birth control.

i have been on petogen for about 4 months now on the second injection. i am bleeeding non stop and it stops only for few hours and starts again  and the first 2 months was just spotting only but after that its been that.

should i be worried?

Common: The birth control shot delivers a high dose of the hormone progestin. Progestin is a synthetic version of progesterone, which is a naturally occurring sex hormone in the body. Irregular bleeding is the most common side effect of the birth control shot. For many women, that side effect often goes away over time. If you are bleeding heavily, talk to your doctor about getting some estrogen.

Stomach ?????: The last shot in January should still be protective against pregnancy, but it is possible to get pelvic infection, bladder infection,  or stomachache related to intestines from constipation, or gastroenteritis or even appendicitis.  More information is needed to advise further.

what is the difference between depo-provera provera (medroxyprogesterone) and petogen injection ?

No : Both petogen and Depo provera have medroxyprogesterone  acetate as the active ingredient in the same dosage and  some of the same preservatives. Both provide 3 months of contraception and both have the same risks/ side-effects. Hope this helps.

i have switched from implanon implant to petogen fresenius injection, however i want to switch to depro-provera. good or bad decision?

Depends: Not sure why you want to switch to Depo-Provera.
Some insurances limit which medication they will pay for.  The injectable birth control meds do have frequent side effects of spotting for up to 3 months.
If you need contraception it is a method in which you can get the shot and forget about it for 3 months. Consider condoms and practice safer sex as well to protect against HIV and other diseases.

Yes: They are the same and both cause an average weight gain of 10 pounds per year.

Normal : Petogen is a medroxyprogesterone like DepoProvera in the US. It is associated with amenorrhea (the absence of periods). This can last for up to a year after discontinuation. Ovulation can occur before your first period after stopping it so you do need another method of contraception unless you are ready for another child and preferably until your period resumes even if you do want another baby.
