Dilated Pelvis: Prenatally it is not uncommon to see these things on ultrasound and certainly they need to be followed during the subsequent weeks. But often they resolve and can be minor things. Following by ultrasound is very important and will give the answers you are looking for.

LUTO?: Lower urinary tract obstruction (luto) can present with low amniotic fluid (oligohydramnios), large fetal bladder and hydronephrosis. If bilateral, this is a bad diagnosis with poor prognosis for survival and even poorer for intact survivial and few treatment options with any chance of long-term success.

Hormonal effect: Mild dilatation of kidneys is often the effect of maternal Progesterone on the baby. If the amniotic fluid is normal chances are that there's no significant disease affecting the fetus. Careful observation and follow up ultrasound is indicate in consultation with the OB team.

Please clarify: please describe your cervix pain. if you have constant pelvic reassure, it is common from baby increasing in size. if you are having contractions, then please go and see our doctor. fetal movement is good and reassuring.

If : There were &gt;  2 markers, especially if they included nuchal thickening ; hyperechoic bowel , your OB would have offered a genetic amniocentesis to rule out aneuploidy, an abnormal # of fetal chromosomes. Ask to see a fetal-maternal medicine specialist who can review fetal growth ; markers, do a super-high-tech fus ; maybe a fetal echocardiogram. Then make an informed decision about amnio.

my wife is in 36 th week and she went for scan and it shows fetal left kidney shows isolated renal pelvis dilation measures 8mm. right kidney appears normal. both ureters are not dilated- left pelviaactatsis features.do i need to worry?

Fetal kidney/dilated: This is probably not a serious finding, but your pediatrician will investigate any need for medical attention after delivery.  Sometimes there are strictures in the upper ureter on the affected side, but this can be fixed post delivery in most cases.

Yes and no: Having a family history of an autoimmune disorder (a parent or sibling with an autoimmune disease) increases a person's risk of developing one too, although it may be a different autoimmune disease.  Most autoimmune diseases do not develop until later childhood or adulthood however.  So it would be very unusual for a fetus to have an autoimmune disease, even if the mother's disease is active.

Long time in hair.: Marijuana crosses the placenta and has untold effects on the developing brain of the fetus. Nobody has studies these effects in detail, but they may not be severe. Thc can be detected in hair analyses from newborns weeks after maternal use.

Hard to say: After the mother uses cocaine, by-products can be found for 30 hours in the urine of the pregnant woman, and for 2-4 days in the newborn.  Fetuses are less developed and processing could take longer.  If you take cocaine, you are delivering it directly to your baby via your placenta, and you risk fetal loss.  Also your baby can be born prematurely, small for gestational age, and with withdrawal.
