i recently had a colonoscopy done and it all came back normal but i am still having some digestive issues. any reason as to why this keeps happening?

Digestion is other o: The colon is not the primary organ involved in digestion. The gallbladder, pancreas, stomach, and small intestine are more involved in the digestive process. You need to discuss your problems with your digestion with your MD as these problems relate to the organs mentioned here.

colonoscopy showed nothing. i get lower r ab pain simultaneous /w carpal tunnel, sciatica, skin and mostly digestive issues, but don't know how they're related. alcohol / certain foods make it worse?

Unrelated: I cannot think of a connection between those issues age? Detail of symptoms, other diagnoses, obesity?  Without proper history it is not easy to come up with a diagnosis.

Several: Regular consistent meal times and quantities of food, plenty of fluids and a good high fiber diet. You are retraining your bowel. Avoid caffeine and alcohol.

Extreme anxiety: Can include the use of medication but please do not forget mind-body modalities.  The gut is sometimes called "the second brain" because it is connected to thinking/moods.  Consider biofeedback or clinical hypnosis (see www.asch.net for licensed referrals).  Peace and good health.

can digestive issues cause panic symptoms? should i get a colonoscopy/endoscopy. i'm 43 and a male. i get anxiety and panic and at times right afterwards i have a bowel movement.not sure if it's stress. constant head pressure and tingling. cbc normal?

: It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Upset system: Many issues digestive related are form eating too much fast food. Reflux, diarrhea, constipation are common. Sometimes depression presents as physical (somatic) symptoms like vague recurrent abdominal pain. Anxiety can present with digestive issues, fears, and generally not feeling well. Alternating diarrhea and constipation can indicate irritable bowels. If concerned, have your teen evaluated.

Anxiety/ worry: Nausea, emesis, constipation, loose stools, cramping ; change in bowel habitus. It can also effect conditions which you already have such as irritable bowel syndrome or ulcer.
