m three months out of acl reconstruction surgery and bi menisci repair , i have only 100 degree of flexion and i haven't got the full extension yet?

Hopefully that: is better than when you started. Most of the benefits would be there by 3 months, AND, even without having a problem and surgery, people can improve their mobility, strength and flexibility over time with consistent physical activity. 
Signs of problems would be deformity, swelling, things getting worse not better over time, or signs of infection.

Question 2

need to do a lot of stretching to be able to bend the knee 14 weeks post acl surgery. i lose the flexion as soon as my body cools down. is that normal?

My Opinion Only: I think that over three months post ACL repair I would be a bit concerned about your story. Certainly I would revisit your Orthopedic surgeon for an opinion. Sounds like you may have a persistent EFFUSION ("water on the knee") interfering with flexion and which MAY be due to persistent joint lining inflammation(SYNOVITIS)

6 weeks after acl surgery, knee flexion is 90-100, extension lag is 30. supra patellar swelling present. when can i get full flexion and extension?

Depends: Your Surgeon is in best position to tell you. Sometimes full range of motion is never achieved after surgery even with PT

during pt after torn acl recon i felt pulling (same feeling as when my hamstring graft was taken) behind knee during flexion exercises.what can it be?

Irritation: Or inflammation if the harvest site and/or stress on ur remaining knee flexors that are now having to work harder

i had surgery june 17th, 2019 for a torn acl and torn meniscus.  my acl was repaired by allograft and the meniscus was trimmed out.  my flexion is 50 at 3 weeks post op.  do i push harder through the stiffness or let it happen eventually?

Work with PT: Figure at least 6-8 weeks of ongoing physical therapy and then transition to a gym and trainer.

had acl revision surgery (patellar tendon) with a modified lemaire tenodesis. at 7 weeks post there's still significant swelling, can't hyperextend the knee, have between 130-140 degrees of flexion, and have just begun light gym work. this normal?

: The person to ask is the surgeon who knows what is normal in men like you he has operated on using procedure he used. Too many unknown variables to give an answer from here.   Another good person to ask, maybe even better, is the Physical Therapist he prob referred you to.   It is likely normal but I do not have all the facts.

Very common : Very common you'll require extensive rehab treatments and it won't feel like your regular leg for at least a year.

ACL Reconstruction: Acl tears do not heal on their own & having it replaced can help you maintain a healthy/ active lifestyle in the years to come. The acl is a major knee stabalizer, and can provide security to your knee that may prevent further damage to nearby tendons, ligaments, muscles, articular cartilage, meniscus, & bones when compared to a "loose knee"

what sort of problem is an anterior cruciate ligament (a.c.l.) injury?

Ligament sprain/tear: The acl is a ligament inside the knee that helps to keep the knee stable - keeps it from moving too far forward or backward.  It works with the posterior cruciate ligament (pcl) to accomplish this.  The acl is often injured when running or other fast movements when the lower leg is planted on the ground and the knee is bent and twisted. It can be a strain or sprain or a complete tear.

it's been a week after acl reconstruction and swelling is a problem. what should i do?

Accepted Answer

Some is expected...: Pain and stiffness are expected to a certain degree in the recovery phases of acl reconstruction. If you had recent surgery i would suggest you continue rice, post-op exercises, and pt as directed. However, if this pain seems to be indicative of infection or DVT (due to time frame of surgery or any other symptoms) then contact your surgeon asap.
