Diarrhea: Your descriptions are too vague to warrant an appropriate answer. My advice would be to see your local doctor and if necessary be referred to a GI doctor. Health care in the UK is viewed as outstanding by most US physicians and I would encourage you to use it. Hope this helps.

Travel: If you did not travel to any place outside the US, you do not have worms in your stool.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

What tests?: You get the most from this site when you provide detailed information on your issue before your question. There is more than one way to evaluate absorption or nutrient loss. Without knowing what tests were run it is hard to provide an accurate answer.

Yes: The lab can do some refined testing to determine the strain. Pseudomonas is an occasional finding in a normal kids stool. It is not particularly worrisome.

Yes: Your stools will emit odors produced by the germs that inhabit the intestines. I recall that the gas produced by germ effect on beer &amp; smoked oysters could clear a room, while usual feeds did not. You can change your dominant gut germ balance by ingesting probiotics. That may solve any odd odor issue you are concerned about.

No, but: Avoid providing a stool sample if you either have diarrhoea or constipation, give the sample when you have regular bowel habits. Ask the lab about instructions to keep the sample till tested, (e.g. refrigeration for how long, till delivered to the lab), good luck

Bleeding can be...: ...intermittent, from any source. If there is clinical evidence that points to the GI tract as a likely source of your anemia then colonoscopy is indeed warranted.

Stool exam parasites: Stool samples for parasites are examined by a variety of techniques, but the sensitivity depends mostly on the level of infection (heavy vs. light) and the particular parasite. Certain types are readily identified by most lab personnel-- the common ones. Less common organisms with light infestations may be difficult to find and identify. Best to use an experienced lab.
