Fat percent: Likely because your amount of fat relative to your total body weight hasn't changed, both have decreased.

you can't: You can't convince others that your obesity is not do to overeating. Ignore them. However, you should stop denying that you are not cause and accept that you are the only one who can do something about it.

Imperfect world: This shouldn't be but unfortunately we live in an imperfect world. People often are fearful when outside of the comfort-zone. We perceive things differently and the way we feel affects how we react to the environment, in this case treating other people. Unfortunately, some obese patients do get the unfair treatment and i wish that isn't the case. Personality plays a big role. Pick doc u get long!

Fat distribution: In general, males tend to carry their excess abdominal fat within their abdominal cavity (intra-abdominal fat) and females within their abdominal wall (subcutaneous fat).  This is a generality and does not hold true for all cases.

Variable: Where fat accumulates can vary from person to person depending upon their genetic predisposition, height, weight, Insulin resistance, etc. In all of them, however, it relates to weight gain increasing Insulin resistance, and can be improved by diet, exercise and weight loss -- + medication if needed. Check w/doctor.

Multiple reasons: Not everyone is the same in genetics, diet, exercise, stress, sleep patterns, etc.  There are infinite varieties of combinations of factors leading to amount of belly fat.  Diets high in sweets, processed foods, and other simple carbohydrates (like white rice) can lead to Insulin resistance and more belly fat.  High stress and inconsistent sleep can also lead to more belly fat.

Not really: Classic pregnancy sxs begin when period is missed or thereafter (6-8 wks).  Sx’s can include: tender /swollen breasts, nausea or vomiting; lack of period; ^ frequency of urination; headaches, insomnia, fatigue. Moodiness, mild cramping, food cravings ; aversions; passing gas; enlarging waist line ; ^ white, milky vaginal discharge. Take pregnancy test to know.
