I would wait!: What do you mean onstage. Sitting on a stool or dancing, it certainly will dictate appropriate advice.  You been through a lot.  I'd wait, whatever you do.

does playing sports wearing shoes with studs/spikes/cleats increase the risk of knee injury?

Spikes & Sports: The answer is yes and no.  Shoes with "traction enhanced" surfaces came into vogue as sports participation evolved onto different artfiicial playing fields.  Slips often caused hyperextension injuries.  Rotational injuries are more common today due to force transmission up the leg to the knee and hip courtesy of a well entrenched foot.  A well conditioned athlete can compensate with training.

Probably not shoes: A numb patch by a shoe is going to be either a callus, a wart (both easy enough to see), or go way quickly after the shoes are removed.  Sometimes nerves can be damaged more seriously by long term compression, but i would never assume that is the case without a doctor knowing the whole story and saying that was it.  The later would be rare.

Heels need to Heal.: Welcome to the intriguing world of heel pain. Typically begins in the 30's and can perplex the most thoughtful doctor. Simply too much walking and not enough support and recovery time. Over using the plantar heel area is the culprit. The remedy list goes on ad nauseum and includes arch supports, stretching, icing, heating, night splints, injections, more injections, surgery, pills. Take your pick.

ive had a problem with my left foot being swollen all the time. because of it my shoe size has actually gone a size up. the right one is fine. swollen one doesnt pain or anything but there is clearly a big difference in the two feet. what causes it?

Seek help immediatel: When one extremity is involved like in this case you should seek medical attention immediately the possibilities of a clot are very great

i am a 17-year-old female and i am experiencing an extremely painful strain in both feet every time i exercise. i tried switching shoes and loosening the laces but it doesn't make a difference. how can this be? is there a problem with my feet?

: I would expect there is. When standing still, half your weight is placed on each foot. Walking shifts up to your full weight/foot. Running  creates momentum &amp; can place up to 6X your weight on each foot. If the added weight triggered by your exercises triggers pain, there is something wrong with your feet or foot-ware that exercise brings out. See your doc or podiatrist.
