Diabetes: Diazoxide or "proglycem" is an oral hypoglycemic, which is particularly helpful in patients who suffer from hyperinsulinemia, or those who are not responding well to insulin.  I believe the mechanism of action is for diazoxide to increase the sensitivity of Insulin to peripheral receptors, helping glucose to pass across cell membranes into the inner cell, where it can be used to produce energ.

It can be.: Severe hypoglycemia after bariatric surgery can be a severe complication. Diazoxide was first used in this setting in 2009, and there have been case reports of using it successfully since then. It is important to follow up with your bariatric surgeon closely to monitor any complications or side effects of the surgery and to decide on the appropriate treatment for those. Diazoxide may be one of those potential treatments in this setting.

Yes it can be: This is frequently caused by neisidioblastosis, which is beta cell hyperplasia (increased # of the Insulin producing cells of the pancreas) as a result of Insulin resistance from obesity. As the resistance improves post surgery, you may get a too robust Insulin response  from food. Diazoxide can help inhibit Insulin release, however side effects of hypotension can be inhibitive.

Tetanus shot : A sore arm is the expected side effect. Any allergic to reaction would have occurred by now such as rash and difficult breathing and GI symptoms

Possible: Yes, it is possible to have allergy to lettuce, but it is one of the more rare food allergies.  Typical symptoms would be mouth itching or soreness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, hives, itching or rarely in more severe cases trouble breathing, drop in blood pressure (shock), or death.  You only need one or two of these symptoms to suspect an allergy.
