Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity at tolerated.

Maybe: Sounds like possible traumatic injury . Go the local er @ a hospital . Not an urgent care center. Go see l ocal  gastroenterologist to check it out!.

No more potato soup!: Air in the digestive tract may come from a variety of sources--maldigestion due to enzyme deficiency (ex. Lactose intolerance) or food intolerance (ex. Gluten sensitivity), fermentation by gut bacteria (as with bacterial overgrowth syndrome or changed flora after antibiotics), altered GI tract motility, excessive air swallowing, as well as inflammatory and infectious causes.  Easy to test 4 these.

i burp, bloat and feel full really quickly after eating. did have nausea then that changed to diarrhoea for 3 days in the morning only. now woken up but pain that is relieved by passing gas with no bowel movement. could it be a stomach bug?

: Symptoms may indicate lactate intolerance.  Elimination of lactose (milk, cheese, dairy products) may confirm.  See GI specialist for guidence and diet modification.

: Your body is talking to you. Listen and take detailed notes. I would log every thing your eat/drink and how much you are bloating.  If certain food seems to bloat stop it and see bloating gone. If gone stop that food.

Concerned: Although the symptoms are consistent with gastritis/ esophagitis, i still think you need an evaluation by a physician urgently.  At 62, this still could be a presentation for a heart related problem. In the meantime, start taking over the counter antacids like tums (calcium carbonate).  If the symptoms are worsening i would recommend going to the emergency department.

for months now i've been experiencing dizziness, lightheaded, excessive gas& nausea .
i notice that i'm always burping when i'm feeling bad. i've had mri's, heart scanned & blood work , all fine . what are the possibilities ?

Anxious : Excessive gas and nausea may indicate a GI problem. Food allergies, lactose intolerance, bacterial overgrowth and Celiac disease are things to consider. Also adequate management of Anxiety may help the feeling of dizziness and lightheaded in the absence of heart or neurological disorder

Dyspepsia: This could be symptomatic of GERD. Unlikely to represent a metastatic cancer. The partial relief with passing gas and the use of PPIs points to a temporary but repeating condition. The spinal pain is a bit unusual for GERD; it is more likely to be referred pain form say the gallbladder, but even that is a bit unusual - GB pain refers to the upper back and shoulder. See a gastroenterologist.

i get some regular acid reflux,dyspepsia,gas.taking protonix & vsl#3 but for last 2 wks some nausea/discomfort during meals & bit after still. once i get some burps.things settles perfect.no pain when swallow.appetite-ok.no belly pain.anytng serious?

Unlikely: If you have been outside of the US you may need to be tested for a stomach infection called H.Pylori.
