Was: Contrast administered?  Then "post" might mean it is a post contrast image.  It also might mean the type of view that was performed, i.e.  a posterior view of a body part.  It also might mean a post voiding image in certain types of bladder studies.  So it depends.

Both use X-rays: By general radiology i assume you mean conventional radiographs like a chest x-ray. The difference between that and fluoroscopy is that fluoroscopy is a video camera hooked up to a continuous x-ray source. This allows doctors to see blood vessels when contrast is injected or help guid wires and catheters through the body for treatment. A conventional radiograph is a single pulse of radiation.

MSK &amp; Interventional: MSK focuses more on diagnostic imaging of the bones, muscles, &amp; joints. 
Interventional radiology (IR) is largely procedural and may span the gamut of vascular angiography, angioplasty, stent, or embolization; biopsies and drainages.
MSK may have it's own procedure responsibilities including biopsies or joint aspiration but in many places these responsibilities are shared or done exclusively by IR
