May be very long: Unfortunately it can take a very long time, years especially in adult onset diabetes.  On the other hand juvenile onset may be very sudden onset with a very unexpected diabetic coma.

Variable symptoms: Frequently diabetes does not cause any symptoms, but in patients who do develop symptoms they might feel extreme thirst, fatigue, frequent urination, muscle aches, unintentional weight loss, increase in appetite and visual changes.

Variable: Everyone experiences symptoms at a different level - newly diagnosed type 1 diabetics may notice symptoms in the low 100`s.  On the flip side I have encountered type 2 diabetics that have a gradual rise in sugar over the years who are asymptomatic in the 300-400`s!

Yes: If your blood sugar is swinging from high to low, you could have seizures and headaches. The seizures from low blood sugar and the headaches are either post-ictal(after the seizure) or high blood sugar pulling water out of your brain. You shouldn't be diagnosing this on your own. Find out about your diabetes control and get the seizures/headaches worked up to identify the source and control.

hi, i am having diabetic symptoms for type 1 diabetes since summer 2019, surviving only on camels milk as i do not wish to take insulin injections. is there any other plant or another medication which can help me improve my life please thank you?

: If you have confirmed Type 1 Diabetes, don’t take chances with natural remedies. There are no other treatments besides insulin.

Not symptomatic: as a rule. Occasionally presents with blood in urine. Might notice some slowing down of urinary strew. Quite reasonable to get PSA tested in view of both age &amp; concern. Symptoms most likely those on Diabetic Neuropathy. Your Dr. can order the PSA &amp; perform a digital rectal examination.

i had a blood test done&my doctor check my hba1c levels even though i'm not diabetic, results came back clear but im still getting diabetic symptoms?!

Find another cause: Make a conscious decision to stop the obsessive idea that you have diabetes. If your personal physician cannot find the cause of your symptoms, get a consult. Further eval needed: Many pregnant women spill sugar into their urine. You need a glucose challenge test to make sure you don't have diabetes in pregnancy.

dr wants me to have a ct scan after gtt - insulin levels too high non-diabetic. symptoms use to come and go, but lately have a lows every 3 to 4 hrs. dr advise to keep glucose on hand. reality is that this affects sleep, work and driving.

Low sugar: Hi.
Your doctor is correct in suggesting that you do  a ct scan.
We have to exclude a growth in your pancreas that is secreting excessive insulin,causing your sugar to dip low.
Follow up with your doctor / endocrinologist
