Depends on reason: Person is in coma. Often, when a patient is in a coma, they need breathing support as well. If they do, then removing that, they may succumb in just a few minutes. They could pass from what ever other ailments they have fairly quickly from those issues as well. If they are stable in a vegetative state and do not breathing support, they can live until they pass from dehydration or malnutrition.

Degree of Coma: You need treatment (support of ventilation) to eliminate co2 from your body to prevent acidosis.  For milder forms of "coma" where the body is protecting the airway and ventilation you may live longer but would need support or "treatment" in the form of hydration.
