Best to see a doctor: It is difficult to say if the dark patch will be permanent or not. It is best to see a doctor and have them evaluate your skin. It is best not to use chemicals that are not meant for the skin on your skin, especially face area. Good luck.

Sitz baths!: Antibiotic or other creams are of little value.  Witch Hazel impregnated wipes help itching and burning symptoms.   Definitive care is Sitz baths with Epsom salts, 4-6X/d tepid water 15 min each.  Avoid straining at stools, increase dietary fiber, avoid dehydration, and see a general surgeon for bleeding or ongoing complications.

If not thrombosed: Or clotted, bed rest for 24-48 hours with feet above hips, warm tub soaks for 15 -20 minutes 3-4 times per day and sometimes ice pack for 5 minutes at a time will usually work. If thrombosed and hard to the touch might consider incision and drainage by  colorectal surgeon in the office to shorten the time of discomfort and swelling and bleeding.
