Disc protrusion.: Based upon the brief description, you have a disc which is spreading beyond its normal confines just a bit. This can be enough to cause pain in the center of your neck, but since it is described as mild, it is not likely to cause "shooting" pains down your arms, for instance. Osteoarthritis: Unless you're experiencing significant nerve impingement symptoms from the radiculopathy such as radiating pain, numbness,weakness in your upper extremities, especially on the left side, treatment for moderate levels of discomfort in your neck would be anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen, Soft neck collar,physical therapy, corticosteroid injections. Surgery for severe symptoms.

Common: The type of findings you describe are common.  The injury should resolve to conservative care such as physical therapy.  Also, keep hydrated dessication means dehydration.

: The images describe prior degenerative disc disease and cervical spondylosis and presume the prior surgery is likewise described.  There is no mention of spinal cord compression or narrowing of the cervical canal and no description of cervical nerve root compression.  But would definitely discuss these films with the doctor who ordered these to achieve an appropriate correlation.

From none to pain: I am sure a lot of folks with this presentation may have no symptoms to mild back pain to more pronounced backache. Since it is the thoracic spine involved, usually there will be only back pain with no radiation.

Most likely. my wife: -had similar &amp; epidural steroids bought her some time, about 5 years, but later got worse &amp; had surgery. My brother had it &amp; waited until he had so much muscle weakness, that his result was not good (he=orthopedic surgeon also).
