Orthopedic surgeon: Usually there are no lumps,nodules or swelling in inflammation of a sacroiliac joint. I recommend that you be examined by an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment in view of spreading hip and spinal discomfort.  Any appropriate tests will be ordered.

i had ct scan, x-ray, blood work, upper edoscopy this week. every test came back normal. i got a problem with eating solid foods for a about a month. no pain just feeling food stuck in my upper stomach. i believe a have inflammation slowing food down?

Scope should show: If there was a problem. If scope was normal and you still have a problem you might want to ask for a fluoroscopic swallowing study to be done

i can swallow liquids with no problems but solid foods like meats feels like there getting stuck in my stomach. there is no pain but i'm not sure what's going on. upper edoscopy came back with little acid and inflamation but the problem still there.

Go back to the doc: who ordered the endoscopy.  The acid and inflammation may be causing some muscular spasm which causes the stuck feeling.  Several medicines could help with this.  Good luck!

Depends : Does an X-ray  show 'inflammation' and an inflammatory marker lab doesn't? If so, that is normal. Inflammatory lab markers  are usually elevated with infection or a severe inflammatory condition like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus or other connective tissue diseases. Routine degeneration/inflammation of the spine such as with arthritis shouldn't show up in a lab.

i am on methotrexate for psoriasis.i have being diagnosed with inflammation in my spine and chest.is this serious.thanks?

Your doctor can help: Seek some explanation from your current physician. Psoriasis can also cause arthritis which is probably what you are talking about.

Pinched Nerve/Muscle: Most times back pain that is sudden onset will resolve. He should use anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen, aleve around the clock and even tylenol (acetaminophen) to help.  If this does not resolve he should see his doctor for a muscle relaxant as well.  If it still does not resolve, i would recommend him to see a spine specialist for a full evaluation and testing.  He may need to get an MRI to see inside.

? fibromyalgia : Not clear if a specific diagnosis has been reached, nor whether physical therapy or exercise approaches have been employed.  Perhaps a visit to a physiatrist might help
