i just had a bowel movement, and when i wiped there was a small amount of brown mucus. is it a normal amount or something bad? the bm was hard, suggesting constipation. also: my city has a heatwave right now so i may be dehydrated?

is it possible to have a bowel movement during anal penetration? i'd like to try it with my partner but i'm worried something like this can happen. any tips or advice?

Can be involuntary: If there is stool in your rectum, some might be released during anal sex.  However, the anus is made more for things to go out than for things to come in -- especially vigorously as with sex. If planning to do this, please be gentle and use lubricant.  Your partner wearing a condom might ease your mind about the stool issues.

how come i always have to urge to do bowel movement before working or going to class? could it be i have anxiety? how can i stop this, because its honestly annoying. nothing else besides that?

: Anxiety or stress certainly could have this effect. You should speak with your doctor about the best option for you. The main choices may be whether to treat the possible underlying problem (e.g. anxiety treatment, e.g. alprazolam, i.e. Xanax® or similar drug) or to try treating the symptom with a GI anti-motility drug (e.g. loperamide, i.e. Imodium®) an hour before work or class. : There is a wide variation on what is normal for bowel movements. This depends on you, where you live, your diet, ex revise and state of hydration.

Google types of stools and see if you can discuss. With a health professional if still concerned. Better yet spend a few $ and subscribe to uptodate and read all about what is normal, what is not and then discuss with your Dr.

Cramping: This could be due to gas passage or passage of hardened stool. It is also possible that you have a type of ibs ( irritable bowel syndrome); nonetheless you need to be examiined by a physician.

Bowel movements: I assume you feel you are having an abnormal number of them.  VERY wide range of what is considered normal re how often people poop.  3-4 a day to once every 7-10 days is a pretty normal range of frequency.  If you hare having frequent diarrhea stools 5 or more a day, painful bowel movements or blood in bowel movements, please see healthcare provider.  Hope this helps.
