Hello. : Hello.  Preschool children  have been diagnosed with odd and children as young as 3years old have been been diagnosed with adhd.  However, it can be very hard to diagnose children this young. For istance, who is to say that a terrible, terrible 2 is an oppositional defiant disorder. One of the problems with making diagnoses this young, is that the child may actually have childhood bipolar or another mood disorder. If you want to have a child this young evaluated for these disorders, please ensure that it is done by a fellowship trained child psychiatrist. Also, please be aware that when children behave badly, they are often acting out the symptoms for a dysfunctional family.

If they walk they gt: Plantar warts are exposure related intrusions of the wart germ on the bottom surface of the feet. I've seen & treated them in toddlers. They are unlikely if the kid never walks barefoot, but when is that likely with a toddler?

Indication: Antipsychotics are used off-label for children. Risperdal is an atypical antipsychotic which has been shown to help with aggression.  Please discuss with a child psychiatrist. These are big gun medications, can be very effective, but would only use if clearly indicated.

Talk with others: I would recommend talking with the hospital that he was admitted to and see if they have any recommendations for a pediatrician.  You could also call around to different pediatric offices and find out if they are taking new patients.  With his multiple diagnoses, i would also recommend that he follow-up with a child psychiatrist.

Possibly: Some children under the age of 18 will have hamartomas which are not true polyps, however they can cause obstruction, prolapse and bleeding. If there is a familial polyposis syndrome polyps may be found in teenagers.

Rely on ER diagnosis: The diagnosis made by the ER is much more reliable than anything anyone can conclude on a distant forum like this one. I suspect they said anxiety, not cardiac. If so, you can rely on it.

Nothing vs. somethin: It may not mean anything wrong. Certain foods can produce odor in the urine such as asparagus. On the other hand, you may have infection in your urine especially if combined with symptoms of urinary urgency, burning, frequency, pain in the abdomen or lower back, blood present in the urine. In that case, you will need to have it checked by doc.
