Depends: I'd recommend using a tweezer, or waxing or having it lasered off. I'm not too sure what chicken skin is!

: I think that it is possible to spread the virus in that manner. I wouldn’t take the chance. Probably not a good idea to shave near the wart and traumatize it in any way prior to receiving treatment to eliminate the wart.

: This usually represents colonization of a persons body by staph germs, often located in the moist area of the nasal passages. Transfer from nose/face to other sites where a person touches at random plants the germs which invade hair roots/cause pustules/abscesses.

My : My best advice is for you to schedule a visit with your primary care provider or a dermatologist if that is an option for you. Typically herpes does not look like bruises, rather fluid filled blisters that are very painful when they initially appear. Also, eczema does not typically look like what you described in your post. You may be dealing with a dermatitis and/or allergy from shaving.

? Jock itch ?: This could easily be a common fungus that often effects the feet and crotch of athletes (commonly called jock itch). It does cause the itching &amp; color change of the affected skin. Scratching easily transfers it to other sites like your armpit, buttock. OTC foot fungus sprays may fix it over a few weeks  or you can let your doc evaluate &amp; prescribe something .

Acanthosis: That sounds like acanthosis nigricans, which is a manifestation of Insulin resistance.  I would see your doctor to verify the diagnosis, treatment would be with diabetes medications that increase Insulin sensitivity.

Yes: These all contain hydroquinone which is a bleaching agent but they are available over-the-counter so contain less percentage of the active ingredient than is available in prescription products or those that are dispensed from doctors' offices. They do help somewhat with dark patches but don't expect them to clear completely. If not helping enough, see doctor for higher strength or procedures.

: She needs a careful medical history, physical exam and guided lab tests to see what is going on. I would also look at the armpits of all of her relatives.  May be running in her family.  Have her Google Acanthosis nigracans in Pakistanis and look at images go see if it looks like any of them.
