i have small bumps that come up on my back and they are very itchy, they come up in different places. and the bumps when scratch leaves the dark spot. i would like help to know what it is?

: Skin when it is healing can acquire a dark color or a light color (postinflammatory dark or light pigmentation), no matter what the original problem is.  If you can have your doctor look at some fresh bumps (e.g. not scratched) that will give you the best chance to get identified.

Post inflammatory: Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation is a common and normal response during the healing process.  When traumatized skin heals, redness, followed by dark discoloration often occurs.  With time, the site will usually resume normal coloration to match the surrounding skin. Hypoallergenic noncomedogenic soaps and moisturizers may help (check the sensitive skin section of the pharmacy).

No need to be scared: Just see your doctor, could be skin infection, as fungal infection, but you need to be seen and examined, wish you well

Doctor can examine: Rashes can be from many causes, such as: hives, viral infections, medication causes, hot-tub rashes, heat rashes, reactions to creams or lotions, allergic reactions to some things (including foods), internal medical disorders, etc... That means a rash that persists or is worrisome in appearance should be examined. Treatment usually depends on the type of rash. A video doctor consultation may help.

my boyfriend has these pimples that randomly come up that are itchy ending up looking like mosquito bites that leave dark spots. main areas affected are the back, chest & shoulders. went to the gp & was given antibiotics and elozart, they didnt work?

Need more info: Itching had a lot of possibilities from eczema, dry skin,  fungal infections, contact dermatitis. You should have your pcp look at it.

It depends on severa: Several requirements for anything to be suspected as cancer. It has to be growing and forming a lump or considerable thickening of skin. Otherwise it is unlikly to be cancer. Cough is probably unrelalted to the skin lesion. A chest x-ray can help to romove any doubts about cancer in the chest/lungs.

Fungus: Probably ringworm or a fungus infection. Try an antifungal cream like Lamisil (terbinafine) and see your primary provider if not better in a week.
