There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Blood color: This is entirely normal. Your blood was drawn from a vein, i.e. blood returning to the heart -- which is depleted of oxygen, and normally dark red-blue in color. Blood is bright red only when oxygenated. When you bleed from a wound, or if you were to spill venous blood after it was drawn, it immediately becomes bright red on exposure to the air.
