: Gyno Daktarin cream contains miconazole which is an antifungal. The directions say to insert one applicatorful deep into the vagina once a day for 7 days. It does not matter if you are on your period, as long as you are not using tampons.

1y with oral thrush.i've used daktarin,no effect.i finished 14 days ketoconazol, but immediately finished, tongue seems the same.is it healde desease?

Mgt/workup: If the thrush has persisted, then another course of anti fungal medication may be used. If your child experiences no improvement or has had multiple other infections, I would ask your PCP to consider an immune workup.

Varies: Daktarin oral gel is Miconazole 2%.  It usually takes several days to see improvement but you should not stop using it once it has improved. Continue taking it for several days after it has resolved to help prevent recurrence.
Mycelex troches can also be used and are probably easier to use since they are lozenges that you let slowly dissolve in your mouth.

: Daktarin, or miconazole, is an antifungal prescribed for mild oropharyngeal candidiasis. There is no significant adverse side effects to the liver while taking this medication for short term, however caution is advised if there is pre-existing liver disease

hi, my baby has thrush. i am using a creche gaurd, cetaphil cleanser, canestan, dilucorte, nustacid and bactroban and oral daktarin. anything else?

Overtreatment: You are way overtreating this problem. Canesten (clotrimazole), Nystacid (nystatin), and Daktarin (miconazole) all are anti-yeast, but none is better than the others and any one alone would be fine. Dilucort (hydrocortisone) could be harmful, making yeast (thrush) worse. The others won't hurt but also not likely to help. Check w/ the child's doctor. Use what s/he suggested, and nothing else.

Depends...: The only way to know if you have HIV is to be tested.  Does your life style promote the risk of HIV?  Do you have unprotected sex with multiple partners? etc.  That being said,  Your skin symptoms are not specific for HIV.  Have your brown spots looked at by a dermatologist and at the same time ask him/her to test you for HIV

Possible?: These are possible findings in HIV and thus you need to get tested if you have known risk factors . However there may be other explanations should your HIV test turn out to be negative.

: This is one of many brands of miconazole and usually is very effective against vaginal candidiasis. Use it as directed on the label; or if prescribed by a doctor, follow the doctor's advice about treatment frequency.
