Reason for MRI?: If this was supposed to  be an MRI of the brain then, the read of the sinuses is a common "red herring" that radiologists always tend to comment on but rarely do the comments make it into the annals of CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE nor do they ever have to do with the initial reason for which the scan was obtained.  Bottom line is probably of no importance.  But check with your doctor or neurologist.

Choroidal cysts: Are usually incidental findings and don't cause symptoms.  However, a 5 year old shouldn't be having headaches and vomiting.  You should see a pediatric neurologist ASAP about the scattered white matter signal abnormalities, and whether they might be contributing to the 5 year old's symptoms.

Brain: These are found on MRI and ct of the brain.  It is non specific and just means that the brain has some "scarring" for lack of a better term.  Seen in patients over 65 commonly near the ventricles of the brain.

: Describes MRI of brain imaging findings.  The white matter of the brain has areas of intense spots which stand out.  These tend, in most cases, to be nonspecific and non diagnostic, but not always, and could be associated with neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis.

Lack of blood deep : In the brain.  This condition is most commonly seen in individuals with one or all of the following:
1. Hypertension
2. Diabetes

Maybe of no signif.: White matter lesions may be caused from a host of circumstances, such as migraine, prior head or neck trauma, hardening of the arteries, inflammation like multiple sclerosis, prior small strokes, effect of some medications such as methotrexate, and is not specific.  The location of your concern maybe actually a chronic, lifelong issue. Consult your doctor.

Vague finding: The best way to describe this, as blood vessels in your brain branch out and become smaller and smaller, the very smallest are prone to calcium build up and atherosclerotic disease as we age.  This is what radiologists often report as chronic ischemic white matter disease on MRI.  Just like with heart disease, some have it worse or earlier than others.
