Where are Cysts?: Minor cystic changes could be either soft tissue or osseous (bony).  If they are osseous, it really does not mean much.  Most of us have some "minor" cystic changes in our bones.  If they are numerous, one could be dealing with an entity like ollier's disease.  Minor cystic changes in soft tissue are less common and would likely be associated with some sort of tumor. Check w your doc on this.

Not cancer: The mixed echogenicity means a variety of densities of tissue and the cystic changes can be nothing more than normal follicles. The vascularity is important because cancer grows very rapidly compared to normal tissue an alot of abnormal blood vessels develope to provide the nutrition and oxygen necessary for that rapid growth. It can help differentiate between cancer and no cancer. Hope this helps

Mild arthritis: Cystic changes can be incidental, or the beginning of the develpoment of a ganglion cyst.  Unless there is severe pain, this is usually  nothing to be worried about.

Mri report: hi ~ tiny cystic etc,means that theres a few tiny bone cysts in the top of the tibia where the cartilage of the joint meets the bone. The tibial plateau is there surface of the tibial aspect of the knee joint and it usually the cartilage of the joint. Osteo chondral tear, means tear of cartilage off bone.Sounds like you have a bucket handle tear of cartilage and will need arthroscopy. Go back Orth
