ovulated on clomid (clomiphene) 50mg first cycle. progesterone level was excellent but didnt get pregnant. now on second cycle 50mg, but no follicles growing? why?

23rd day of 34 days cycle  showed progesterone level 36. what does it mean? have i already ovulated or ovulating or gonna ovulate soon?

Already ovulated...: The progesterone level is usually less than 10 prior to ovulation and over 10 sometime after ovulation.  Your level indicates that you HAVE ovulated.    If you want to know WHEN you are going to ovulate, you need to do an ovulation prediction test.  This is a test of your urine and it turns positive 12-48 hours prior to ovulation.   Its frequently helpful to do both tests.  Best wishes!

Possibly: It sounds like you definitely ovulated but it is too early to say if you are pregnant based just on the Progesterone

Inaccurate: Progesterone really canot be 'below zero, ' you would be dead, since you could not make cortisol. So i'm glad it is higher!

Around June 19: Usually Progesterone levels after climid are checked around Day 21. Pregnancy test can be done on Day 28, 7 days after a Progesterone test or more accurate is 14 days after positive ovulation test

Normal: There is a lot of variability. See if you can help your breathing by avoiding inflammatory bacteria in GI tract by avoiding dairy, grains except quinoa, sugar and processed foods.  Eat lots of vegetables and high quality unprocessed proteins.  Check 25-oh vitamin d level and take sufficient amounts to be in the 50-70nm/l range.

Only  by doctor: There is no home test for progesterone.  If you have a suspicion of a problem with this, you should see your gynecologist and have an assessment made as to whether it needs evaluation and why.

Depends: The progesterone level changes thru the cycle so a level can be normal at one time and abnormal at another
