Amblyopia: Early on they see double vision but later on the brain shuts down on the vision of one eye so to avoid double vision  it is important to diagnosic vision problems early so that the brain can learn to see with each eye e.g. Amblyopia.

Crossed eye: This condition is some type of strabismus, and in a young child should be evaluated urgently by an ophthalmologist--an eye surgeon/md.  Sometimes glasses, and sometimes glasses with patching of the better eye may do the trick.  Other times eye muscle surgery is needed.  There are some types of strabismus that are harder to correct. If it is for you, seek out an adult strabismologist specialist.

Strabismus: Crossed eyes, or strabismus is managed differently depending on your age.  Children are often treated with glasses, eye patching plus possible surgery to help manage or prevent a lazy eye from taking place.  In adults with chronic crossed eyes, eye surgery can be done to help with cosmetic appearance.  Any recent only of crossed eyes should be evaluated promptly by your medical eye doctor.

No opposite: When eyes are turned toward each other, this is esotropia.  When they are turned away from each other, this is exotropia.  If one eye is turned up in relation to the other, that eye has hypertropia (and the other has hypotropia).

Not sure: Some people have accomodative insufficiency and have a hard time converging their eyes, so the eyes go back to parallel, but i can't say why they would actually turn out- unless your eyes normally have a tendency to do that.

Yes: Damage the bones of the orbit surrounding the eye can injure the ye muscles or optic nerve.
Proper ophthalmic evaluation is necessary to determine the cause.

Several factors: Some babies have broader noses which makes the eyes look out of alignment (when they are not).  The things to notice are if one eye only seems consistent out of line  -  or:  if when you take photos and see the "red eye" and instead of being in both eyes one is consistently dark (out of line) then there might be a problem.  Ask you pediatrician if you have difficulty making this decision.

Return to eye doc...: You need to return to your eye doctor with your new glasses so your eye doctor can make sure you received the right prescription. Your eye doctor can check your new glasses and make sure the prescription is right. If your glasses are the right prescription, then return to the place they were made and have them adjusted again. Sometimes all it takes is a minor adjustment and you'll see fine again!!
