Young age: The endometrial stripe will vary a lot and we don’t usually pay too much attention to it in a 19 year old unless there are specific concerns for polyps. Discuss the findings with your Obgyn to determine if any further testing is needed

is the uters get bigger before period every time my ultra sound size change by couple cm after period it's 8.2 and before period it's like 11.2 is ok?

Yes: We usually measure the uterus just after the period. It is entirely normal for the uterus to enlarge as you approach mid cycle and the onset of your period. A length of 8.2cm is normal.

had sex with husband while on period.  5 days after period was over noticed light blood in cm.  should i be concerned?

Accepted Answer

No: A small amount of blood streaking in the cervical mucous is probably nothing to worry about.  If this were a recurrent problem, then a visit to your OB would be indicated.  Make sure that you still check a pregnancy test.

Ovulation: Ovulation occurs consistently about 14 days before your next cycle. If you know how many days there are from the first day of the bleeding to the next during your normal cycle just subtract 14 days. This allows you to predict when you should be ovulating.  Cervical consistency is totally unreliable. Cervical mucous is highly variable.

Very slight: If you took Plan B and have had a negative pregnancy test, it is unlikely that you are pregnant.

Candida (yeast)?: Your symptoms resemble yeast infection, also called candida and monilia. Are you near your period? Have you been taking antibiotics? Do you have diabetes or high blood glucose ("sugar")? These factors can increase the chance for candida. This infection can improve with over-the-counter vagina creams or tablets. If no improvement, then see your medical provider. Hope that helps.

Normal possibly: It's normal to have discharge every day from the vagina. Most days it's clear, some days it may be white.  If it's thick it can mean a yeast infection.  If there's a lot of discharge, it can mean a bacterial infection.  If your partner is ejaculating inside you, that can come out for a few days.  At 20, if you are having sex without a condom, you may want to get checked for stds.

Left over : it sounds like you just have a little left over blood in the vagina needing to come out after your cycle ended. If it does not stop or you feel concerned see your Obgyn for evaluation
