hi, i had a small mole removal incision on my nose. three weeks now, the wound has not healed, was filled with pus, still red, no scab and now it has a yellow crusty layer in the skin, applied fucidin cream and flucloxacillin, still red. please help?

: Three weeks is a while however the nose is relatively cartilaginous. If the area of the ulcer is smaller and the area of redness smaller or not expanding, continue the topical treatment and cleaning and keep the ulcer moisturized with the topicals. If the area of redness or the ulcer is getting bigger or if you have fever , seek urgent medical evaluation for probable oral antibiotics.

Creams/ointments: Creams/ointments don't clear up moles.  Recommend dermatologic eval to determine diagnosis and to formulate treatment plan.

Not recommended: Fluorouracil cream is used to treat malignant and premalignant skin lesions. Fluorouracil cream can cause significant damage to the skin. If you have a mole that is concerning or you desire to have removed, please see your primary physician or surgeon. If a mole needs to be removed, then it needs to be tested to determine if it is a skin cancer.

None: Do not try to remove a mole by topical agents. If you wish to have a mole removed for any reason, see a doctor and make sure that the removed tissue is sent to a pathologist for examination.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Scarring: This could be scarring. There's no cream which is effective for this. If the scar is growing, you should go back to your doctor.

Don't try it: Sorry. Surgery or laser are your options, or leave it alone. Your physician should see it in any case to be sure it's not melanoma or something else dangerous. The stuff you read on the internet (garlic, banana peels, strawberries, and of course apple cider vinegar, which supposedly cures everthing) is just silly, made-up stuff.

can you get rid of moles using mole removal cream?

Don't think so: Over-the-counter "mole removal" creams probably work like the "wart removal" creams, using some irritant or acid to destroy cells on the skin. Moles have pigmented cells that include cells that are deeper down in the skin surface, so the cells that are not destroyed will likely reproduce to prevent the mole from going away. It's best to have a dermatologist look at any moles a person doesn't want.

Bleaching creams: Some bleaching creams are associated with an increased risk of skin cancer particularly when combined with extensive sun exposure or uv radiation. Also it is important to k ow the history of the mole such as the abcd (see diagram) and risks of malignancy.

after scratches, the surrounding of a mole has turn grey.i have seen a dermatologist and he gave me elomet cream. will the grey ring disappear?

Halo nevus: These are very common, and often mean that the immune system decided to tear up that particular nevus. Look at a few pictures and see whether this is what you have. You're a good observer of your body.
