Infant issue: Craniosynostosis is a term used to describe premature closure of cranial suture lines to the point a skull deformity &amp; some symptoms occur. In life, all the cranial sutures will eventually close, usually later in adulthood. The skull achieves ~ 90% of adult size by age 8. Minor shape differences in the skull are normal. Minor forms may be overlooked or labeled later but that would be rare.
