Antifungal spray: Generally recommend any antifungal cream or ointment, but most people have a hard time bending down and rubbing between toes.  Antifungal spray (over the counter from any drug store) is usually the option i recommend for cracks between toes.  Hope that helps.

Just dryness or....: HI! this could be just plain skin dryness. Other than that depending on other signs or symptoms which you seem to disclaim dryness can be due to fungal ( athlete foot ), infections or eczema ( there is somethng called ' winter eczema as well ), as the most common causes. If using a lotion or cream moisturizer does not help with use once or twice a day for about a week then evaluate furhter.

Usually fungus: This is usually caused by fungus, although there are other possibilities. An over the counter antifungal cream used for 3-4 weeks should help. If not, see a skin doctor for a more detailed evaluation.

Athletes foot: Dry between your toes well after you bathe. Buy an OTC    spray to control the fungus. Use absorbent- not all cotton socks to wick away perspiration. Make sure you dry out your shoes everyday if you sweat a lot.

Cracked skin: Make sure to be you change work shoes daily if there is any tendency fir foot or shoe moisture to develop. Of course the same applies to Sox. Apply moisturizing lotion to you foot soles after bathing while feet are still moist. This traps band preserves some of the protective skin oils. White cotton Sox are best for w work.

how do i know if i should be worried about the vibrio bacteria? i had a small crack in my skin between my toes and swam in the ocean in naples florida. should i seek care or not worry about it

Vibriosis: In your case simply observing the area to look for any sign of a wound infection is all you need to do at this time as I assume that the area in question appears clean. Don't go in the ocean without some waterproof protection of any open areas in your skin. If you still have concerns, see a physician for evaluation and advice.

Tinea Pedis: Cracks of the skin between or under toes usually indicates that there is a fungal component. Try using an athletes foot spray containing terbinafine and scrubbing your feet (especially the toe region with a brush). You can use the spray on your shoes too to eradicate the fungus there as well. After the solution is well absorbed, try massaging your feet with an emollient lotion.
