When healed: Usually when the redness and oozing is gone, then you are no longer contagious.

Staph infection: Staph infections, if not treated promptly and effectively can cause significant "morbidity", loss of tissue or an entire limb, and yes, even "mortality". A wound of the size mentioned, with such pain and vomiting is by definition infected, and treatment is not urgent, but emergent. Get to a doctor or the ER immediately

You could: You could, but follow the direction of the physician who saw you. Usually soap and water is sufficient to keep it clean.

Endocarditis: Your question is garbled but it sounds like you may have staph endocarditis. If so your doctors are likely treating aggressively and observing  for complications. Report your symptoms to them and ask them to explain what is going on.

how long can i use neosporin on my scrotum for to cover a draining staph infection? and should it be covered all day or let it breathe?

Neosporin: There is no set time that you have to stop using neosporin, but most otc meds will have a comment that says if it does not go away within a few days or weeks, please see your doctor.  If you thinks it's staph, make sure a doctor sees it.  Also, neosporin can cause topical allergies in some people.

i had staph cellulitis took antibiotics and now have lesions on throat and  slight fever?

Need culture: If you have had a staph aureus infection and an antibiotic and now have lesions of the throat, you should have a culture and sensitivity of those lesions to rule out MRSA (methicillin resistant s. Aureus).  A 
staph cellulitis is a serious infection and you need specific sensitivity of that organism to an appropriate antibiotic.

my boyfriend sweat on my new tattoo freshly done. it went through my shirt that i used to cover the tatttoo after i washed it. he has frequent rashes and skin infections. am i at risk for staph if he slightly sweat through my clothes on my new tattoo?

: Yes. Lots of soap and water.  Then more soap and water (much more effective than antibiotic creams and ointments - also, less expensive).  If, and only if, area becomes warm, red or swollen, go to Urgent Care for evaluation

Maybe: See your doctor if you think you have an infection.  It can cause red streaking and can also be uncomfortable.  You may need an antibiotic or be having a rash which may need a diagnosis and treatment.

Possible: If cat has staph then you can get it from them.  However, you have staph all over you already and it is hard to blame the cat for that.

could staph deplete your vision?

Accepted Answer

Unlikely: Most steph infections are on the skin, occasionally the lids but not in the eye socket or the eye itself.  There would be discomfort and symptoms of infection that need treatment in these circumstances.  Only if the infection got to the interior of the eye would there be any issue of vision changes.
