You should only give: him the correct amount for his age and weight per day as directed by his pediatrician.  There is a potential for toxicity.  Also, if it is the formula with supplemental iron, you can run into problems with his stomach, constipation, diarrhea, tummy ache.

Bradycardia: Bradycardia, as long as it orginates from the sinus node, is not a pathologic finding and in fact, is a very common finding in well-conditioned athletes. It is a good sign.

Diarrhea: Better to let the diarrhea run its course. Stop all milk and milk products. If no vomiting, give bananas, rice, fresh apples, toast (dry cheerios, dry pasta), clear liquids ( no apple juice, and vanilla or lemon yogurt. The yogurt repopulates the bowel with good bacteria. The diarrhea should stop within 3-5 days.
