She should be seen: if the pain continues. If she irrigated her ear, it may be irritated, causing the pain, or some of the wax may be adherent to her ear drum, causing pain. However, she also could have an infection, so it's best to have her examined to be sure.

The : The recommended tratment with ear drops was appropriate. If the ear canal was lacerated i would recommend an antibiotic-based drop such as Cortisporin (neomycin polymyxin and hydrocortisone) Otic Suspension as prophylaxis against external otitis for 5-7 days. The hearing blockage could be from a number of things that include residual earwax, congealed blood in the ear canal, swelling of the ear canal, etc. You would have to go back to a doctor to determine which of these is going on and for a prescription for the eardrop.

Not really necessary: Your water should not harbor bacteria.  You can use otc swimmers ear solution to dry it out, or mix your own with 1/3 alcohol, 1/3 vinegar and 1/3 water.

pain after getting water in ear tubes? is this normal my daughter forgot her ear plugs when taking a bath and got water in her left ear. now she says it hurts. will the pain go away by itself or do we need to see her doctor?

If : If water goes through the tube into the middle ear space, it can cause pain.  If you see any ear drainage, see your ent.

Allergies : Immunotherapy may be the best way to treat allergies, anti allergic medicines may help but not necessarily treat her condition. I recommend talkig to her allergist for treatment recommendations.

Cold induced HIves: Some children/adults will get hives on exposed skin.  Its called cold induced hives.  No not allergic. Antihistamines can help.

More information : It depends on the age of your daughter. If she is nursing, slower feeds,burping mid feed and afterwards while feeding at an angle may be helpful. Depends: "Allergy to the sun" may refer to any number of conditions that are worsened by sun exposure -- typically when a rash occurs as a result of sun exposure.
