Asthma: Coughing while laughing is a well known symptom of poorly controlled asthma.  There are other possibilities.  See an ENT allergist, general allergist or pulmonologist to help figure this one out.

No: Crohn's disease is not an infectious disease. That being said you can have a GI tract infection on top of the crohn's especially if you have been treated with antibiotics and this infection can be contagious from contact with your stool. In general the gas or flatus should not be able to spread any infection without direct stool contact.

Hemoptysis: Disease include tb, tumor of the tracheobronchial system, folks on anticoagulants with severe coughing spell. Source of blood can also be from nose or mouth. Patient usually starts the work up by seeing an ENT doctor. If negative finding, bronchoscopy by pulmonologist is the next step for persistent  or recurrent hemoptysis.

Yes/No: esophagus cancer may or may not be related to barretts disease. Cough is not an early symptom of this cancer. It is usually difficulty in getting the food down to the stomach as the food starts to get stuck and requires liquids to push it down. It is called Dysphagia, it is an early clue that something is growing inside the food pipe(esophagus). Endoscopy is the answer to find out more about it.

im scared i got cancer or lung disease ( im 22) idk. the other day i started waking up with a dry cough like persistent out the blue and it happens in the morning and night. im scared its something serious. i did have lipo on my neck 2weeks ago?

: Lung cancer at your age would be at the bottom of the list of possibilities. Cough is a protective reflex the lung uses to move debris from deeper in the lung to expel it. It is the common  response to simple accumulation of mucus with colds or exposure to lung irritants. If you are loosing sleep over this get checked out.

tw eating disorders i purged two days ago and since then have had chest pain, sore throat, shallow breathing, a dry throat/cough, and nausea, all off and on. i was thinking of waiting it out, but im not sure thats a good idea. what should i do?

: You probably have mild oropharyngoesophageal irritation from gastric juice with repeated purge. Drink some honey warm water may sooth the area. You need to be counseled for this condition. Good luck and take care.

Ten days`: Fifth's disease is a viral illness and can trigger a cough as any viral illness can.  Usually the cough is one of the last symptoms to go away and can last for tendays or even longer.  The key is that by ten days the cough is clearly getting better.  If not then it would be worth seeing your physician.

Viral illness: A systemic illness of that sort is probably viral, but an atypical pneumonia from nontb mycobacterium, chlamydia, and legionella.  Mycobacteria are more likely to give a lymphadenitis than others.   Sputum cultures and throat cultures should be done.
