Mgt: I would suggest a virtual appointment with Pulmonology. Some possible conditions include restrictive lung disease, lung mass, or a chronic infection. I would like to see the PFT report.

Many patients: Rheumatoid arthritis can often be controlled with some of the newer medications including enbrel (etanercept). Many patients are saved from irreversible crippling of the joints. The key is to get early diagnosis and effective treatment to prevent worsening. Enbrel (etanercept) is a biologic response modifier meaning that the drug is made by a biological system. The drug can be very effective. Untreated RA has huge risks.

Q: has anyone ever used dovonex (calcipotriene) 0.005% solution for scalp psoriasis?

Yes: This is a medication that has some relief..I suggest you add a topical steroid for any reddness...Dovonex (calcipotriene) helps more with scale.

Q: i have nasty eczema. how effective is elidel (pimecrolimus)?

Somewhat: Elidel (pimecrolimus) is an anti-inflammatory cream used to treat eczema. It works best on mild to moderate eczema and when chronic treatment is needed. For moderate to severe eczema, often a more potent topical steroid cream is used to get the rash under control before switching to the safer, but weaker elidel.

Q: anyone tried aphthasol (amlexanox) (rx) for canker sores?

Yes: Apthasol ointment helps, but avoid triggering foods.

Q: is there another way to treat my psoriasis from psoriatic arthritis? so far have tried uv therapy, low dose radiation treatment, methotrexate, humira, enbrel, halabetasol ointment, coal tar, hylatopic, and any other cream my dermatologist could think of.

Too big a question. : There are many hundreds of different types of topical medications. They all work through unique mechanisms. Pain relieving patches such as Lidocaine effect the local nerves whereas patches such as fentanyl affect receptors in the brain.

Q: does humira (adalimumab) work well for plaque psoriasis?

Yes: It is effective for over 75 per cent of people using it although they do not all clear completely.

See your dentist: Please see your dentist for a proper diagnosis of your mouth sore.  Cosentyx is an immunosuppressant that could lower your immune system resistance to mouth sores.
