It might: A CT angiogram or the coronaries might show a pulmonary embolism, provided that the radiologists obtained full field of view reconstructions (some do not) and the pulmonary embolism is not higher or lower than the field of view. most often, the answer would be yes, a significant PE would be identified on this type of scan. having two ct's in the same month is not optimal, but likely of no harm.

This always requires emergent care and can be deadly.

Is the current pain still from pulmonary emboli? Is it something different? 

Get evaluated for emboli problem but also for other causes of the pain and the reason for throwing pulmonary emboli.  The cause needs to found and corrected.
