Personally, i would not recommend it without advise from your doctor.

Lid?: Do you mean eyelid?  Some folks get twitching of the eyelid with increased stress, decreased sleep.  Resolves on own once sleep improves and stress improves.  Tingling implies a nerve condition which is the same that causes a twitch.  If tingling increases in area and any muscle weakness or inability to talk (slurred speech) or blink or keep eye open, go to ER, concern of a stroke then.

You can treat this (medications, surgery) or embrace your masculinity and genetics.

Depends how much: Most people will have a little bit of this occasionally. Some people are even more perceptively sensitive. It is as if the peripheral vision is hyperactive. We all have these vigilance brain functions on automatically. Insomnia, isolation, substance abuse and brain illnesses each can increase this brain "hyper"- activity. If it continues or bothers you, see a doctor to evaluate it.

Most people with mental illness problems are some of the most sensitive and creative people and their death would be a great loss to their families, friends and society.  Don't give up, accept help.  If you are willing to die, you should consider ECT even.

Other conditions include IBS - irritable bowel syndrome, and IBD - inflammatory bowel disease like Crohn disease (CD) or Ulcerative Colitis (UC). There are other problems, but severe pain should be seen in the ER.
