hello. i had wanted to know if it's safe to heat up prune juice on stove top or microwave to make it more warm and for how long. ?

Microwave : I  use.the microwave and.depending on.size of.cup.,half minute to one minute is usually okay

my house has a mouse.1 day,i put some instant noodles in a bowl next to a pot with boiling hot water.left the stove for a few minutes.when i came back,saw a piece of mouse's feces on the stove top.can i get sick if the mouse ate or touched the noodle?

Accepted Answer

: You won't get sick if you clean area and don't eat any possible contaminated noodles. Best buy some sticky pads and place noodles or any food on them to catch the mouse.

No: It is rich in simple carbohydrates.

burnt a nylon jacket on the stove. inhaled a lot of the fumes and feel sick. left the house and left windows open. when will it be safe to go back in?

Accepted Answer

Burning nylon: Fumes from burning nylon probably didn't do your liver any favors, but overall it will handle it OK, if this is the only insult. 
 I'm sure your lungs and bronchi weren't too happy either, but likely no lasting damage.
 I would stay out until you don't see smoke. You may want to set up a fan to blow out the window if it still stinks. Eat light if nauseated, it should pass.

how long can frozen fish be left out on counter if on a separate surface to the stove but in warm room?  out for 5 minutes be4 put back in freezer.

Fish: If any thawing at all took place, it is not recommended that fish be put back into the freezer.

so i hit the back of my head on the corner of a metal stove hood, i didn't lose consciousness or have blurry vision but the location i hit dose hurt a little bit, it's been about one day since do i need to be concerned?

: Head trauma such as you described will rarely cause serious problems. The skull bones and the fluid surrounding the brain provide a cushion which prevents damage. As with any head trauma, you should watch for headaches, vision/hearing changes, nausea, and palpable movement at the trauma site.

i got shocked on my finger a few times from my stove tonight. it was the fork resting on the skillet that shocked me. i have shocks like that before in the past with other things. tip of my finger hurts a little. should i be concerned?

: No clear if shock coming thru fork etc or does using them cause the shock in your hand or arm and not an electric shock.  If so see Dr. for testing. Keep diary and share with your Dr.

would a air purifier be good for a person who has copd on oxygen who also uses a pellet stove for heat in the winter time 
if they clean the filter regularly?

Air purifier : Can’t hurt. Might be better to get different heating system. Beware of oxygen around fire in stove or cooking.  Do not smoke. Get fire alarm. Plan escape route.

lifted a stove for my milaw back in may the next day i was hit with sciatica pain so bad. my bk hasn't been the same since now my lower legs are red?

Herniated disc?: Perhaps you suffered a herniated disc causing this radicular pain, as opposed to sciatica. 
See a doc for an exam to,determine the actual cause. The redness of legs may be a red herring.

i used a disinfectant wipe on the stove top whilst on and it burnt my hand- will the chemicals/  burnt residue from the wipe and stove top more likely leach into my skin considering also have some cuts on hands?

Accepted Answer

No: The disinfectant should not leach into your skin.  Make sure you wash your hands with soap and water after cleaning.  How badly did you burn your hand?
