everol conti patches    - is it safe to stop taking the everol conti patches.  i have come out in a rash that will not go away and i think it could be from the patches.  i have been on them for aournd 21/2 months?

Talk to your Dr: hormone replacement patches contain various estrogen hormones. Starting and stopping them can result in unwanted side effects, the most dangerous of which is stroke. Please consult your prescribing dr to determine how to proceed. they may choose to have you replace the patches with something oral.

Testis Torsion: 1-Yes you will continue to have erections after testis torsion provided Uic still have one functioning testis.. Only way erections can be lost by torsion is if U had torsion of both testes or torsion of solitary testis &amp; ended up with no functioning testis 2-Ejaculation of semen will occur after U recover from surgery even if U lose a testicle 3-Pain lasts couple of days unless testis is necrotic.

3mth trtm w cabergoline(.5mg 3x/wk) my prolactin is down from 704 to1.3 and testosterone up to 188 from 46 freet upto 41 shd i reduce my dose or conti?

Difficult question: It sounds like you have an adenoma in your pituitary gland, but you did not say that. Your testosterone numbers are obviously improved and you prolactin obviously is now about normal but your testosterone is not normal yet.  The medication you are on is not meant to treat the testosterone only the prolactin.  It is usually continued for 6 months after the prolactin is normal.

Go to urgent care: I have no idea if both symptoms are related to the swallowed glass Sometimes it will show up on x ray or cat scan so go to urgent Care to check it all out

Numbness: This is consistent with a peripheral sensory neuropathy or acute neuritis since there apparently is no associated leg weakness. A neurologist is best qualified to evaluate you and the appropriate testing will be ordered.

since 1 week my glans penis skin started to peel. no discomfort. but just peels and its red and its so dry. i talked to my pcp, she said try applying aquaphor ointment. so i started it and but its still same. how long to conti? how to wash this off?

: The skin of the penis is very delicate. Extra washing and using harsh soaps can actually cause the problem to worsen. Try using a mild soap like baby soap, once a day and apply the aquaphor when the skin is still partially moist from washing. Reapply the Aquaphor several times throughout the day without rewashing to minimize moisture loss.

: Medication patch should be placed on body parts with thin skin like anterior chest wall for the best absorption, a place where the patch is not easy to slough off when changing cloths and a site you can easily check the patch.

Yes .: You can  cut . Check with your doctor if half dose is appropriate for you.

is 1, 000-9, 000 colony fram positive cocci significant?

Accepted Answer

Depends: It depends on were the cocci were  isolated from, for example  if this was isolated from the urine and the patient has no symptoms, the cocci can be a contamination; on the other if it was isolated from the sputum or the blood and the patient has fever, elevated white blood cell , this could be significant and it depends also  on what bacteria the cocci turn out to be.

why do i constily shake?

MULTIPLE REASONS: .Multiple reasons like anxiety , essential tremors, parkinson disease, overactive thyroid are common reasons of constant shaking.There are other neurological problems and certain medications could cause shaking. You should see your physician.
