No and no: Many of the diseases we see today like diabetes, hypertension, copd, asthma, etc are chornic but not contagious. "acute issues do arise from chronic diseases that are not treated or not treated properly. Contagious diseases are often infections and can be spread from person to person.

Maybe,maybe not: The typical eb virus mono occurs in early childhood and 90% of adults show antibodies that reflect earlier disease (and immunity).The primary infectious period lasts a few months until adequate antibody levels are built up that suppress  the disease.It then goes dormant but the patient can intermittently secrete the virus in their saliva for the rest of their life.

Easy: just look!: Fordyce spots are normal skin glands. Google it for photos; if yours look similar, that's what you have. There is no STD that looks like them. If in doubt, get professional care. Australia's federal sexual health centres are the world's best network of STD/HIV clinics. You'll never go wrong with care at your local SHC. (If in Sydney or Melbourne, your local clinics are the best of the best.)

Poison Ivy: isn't contagious BUT anything which has touched urushiol from the poison ivy needs to be cleaned (your skin, clothes, shoes, gear etc.) If Urushiol on you touches some one else- that can spread the poison ivy.

Now: Any possibility of spread for ringworm requires direct contact. After a few days of this cream the risk in minimized. I do not exclude kids from school for ringworm if the sore can be covered or they have been treated a few days. Total return of the skin to a normal appearance may take a month or more.

There are different types of inflammatory conditions of the skin that could cause a rash as well as responses to external/internal sources.
