Age related: You may be starting to enter the focusing of middle age termed presbyopia in which things intermediate and near start to become less clear.  It is possible the contacts you are wearing are overcorrected which will accelerate this issue.  Have your lens power checked and you can also discuss with the ophthalmologist a thing called monovision which can help.

Yes: The essential purpose of refraction is to produce a clear, focused image on the retinal surface so that your vision sees things clearly. Glasses, contact lenses, lasik are a variety of treatment options that can be used to correct the refractive error of an eye. They all achieve excellent visual results, albeit, they differ in their methodology.

how do i stop cloudy film from forming inside my contac lens? i have been wearing gas permeable contact lenses without any significant problems. in the last 6 months, everytime i put my contact lenses on- the right lens gets cloudy and it has a film over

This : This could be a fit issue where debris is being trapped.  It could also be the gpc as previously mentioned.  I also see similar issues with severe lid inflammation and contact lens use - make sure you are cleaning your eyelids very well each day.  I also feel patients that use make-up around the eyes need to be careful with contact lens use.  It is amazing the amount of make-up that makes its way into the tear film.

Visual Disturbance: Talk to your specialist about this. Further testing may be necessary.

Ophthalmology : See Ophthalmology immediately if you had blurry vision or ocular pain. If it is persistent I would choose the ER for any loss of focus. Possibly not contact lens related and important to have full history and exam and dilated eye exam in this situation. Contacts out glasses in until then.  Stay calm and see Ophthalmology.

Contacts: Probably yes but please contact your eye doctor for certainty.

Yes: Binocular eye alignment issues are not corrected with contacts, also with underlying convergence insufficiency, contacts can make it harder to converge.  Uncorrected astigmatism can lead to "double vision".

Increased risk: Of infections and inflammatory conditions such as keratitis and giant-papillary conjunctivitis.  Patients who over-wear and get these often very sorry they had to suffer these problems.

Very few: When used correctly, contact lenses are a great way to correct your vision, with little risk of a problem.  When not used correctly, they can lead to infection or inflammation.  Your eye doctor will supervise your use of contact lenses.  Follow his/her directions closely and you will do well with them.

Cantact: Contact a few allergists in your area to see if they can help you find out. A component of the solution can cuase allergies.
