: I recommend being examined by your physician, gastroenterologist or a colorectal surgeon &amp; following their recommended testing. If no pathology is found, you are probably experiencing heightened rectal sensitivity. If so try to distract yourself. Antidepressant medication can help.

Pooping: Pooping is a natural, instinctive bodily function.  One does not need to 'know' how to poop, for it can just happen.  Consider newborn babies and their first stools.  The learned part is actually to keep from having a stool.  Just relax, it should come naturally.  See a doctor if this continues.

: No damage will result from this. Stop ignoring the urge, but don't worry about it.

NO: simply increase your intake of natural fiber ( fresh fruit and vegetables), bran. oatmeal, shredded wheat and 8-10 8 oz. glasses of water daily.

Constipation?: If you have never has this problem in the past  or is  not usual, when we get a cold, which usually is caused by a virus, we should get very well hydrated. In other words, drink plenty of fluids. This is important when we get sick in order to prevent dehydration which could cause some level of constipation. Make sure you also eat high fiber diet. If  you get worse should be seen by your pcp.

Receptive Relaxation: Your rectum, if distended, will take note (the proverbial call to nature) and you generally  head for the loo.  If you ignore it, your rectum adapts to the distention and then it takes additional (further) distention to get the same  urge again. The moral? If you feel like you have to go, and tend to be constipated, don't ignore the call of nature.

Constipation: Sounds like you are constipated/impacted. Drink a lot of water and some prune juice and see if that helps. If not please see your doctor.

: If this is a recent change in your bowel habits, colonoscopy is recommended. If the problem is more chronic, drink lots of fluids,eat fiber ( fruits,vegetables) or take fiber supplements daily. If you have no urges to have a BM, I recommend taking a stimulant like senokotS daily according to instructions. : Some thoughts: There is a natural event called the gastro-colic reflex where signals created by stomach filling sends a message to the colon to empty. It is more active in some than others. If you shift your normal emptying process into your morning get-up routine there will not be enough there to push you to empty. Schedule emptying on your own time is the fix, or just don't eat mid-day.

i took an unwanted 72 pill last night before having my dinner. within 1 hour i had my dinner and after sometime i feel urge to poop so i used the washroom. is there any need to take another pill or is the first one considered as missed pill ?

: The pill contents are absorbed from the upper intestines just past the stomach.. The content of your poop is generally debris that has been in your digestive tract for 2-4 days that occupied the last segment of your large intestines. I don't see how the pill contents could jump ahead of the existing debris to exit the anus. I see no need to repeat the pill.
