Colic: Colic is when a baby cries for unusual amounts of time. It's not actually caused by gas pain, but when a baby cries a lot, they can swallow air and get gassy. Try to calm them with rocking, walking, quiet music, patting their back and holding the baby skin to skin. If it is severe, check with your baby's doctor.

First make sure that: nothing physical is wrong:hunger,dirty diaper,gas,pain elsewhere.If it's not, try swaddling, try white noise(record a vacuum cleaner running, ocean waves, other soothing noises),soft music,holding,rocking. Unfortunately, the same solution doesn't work for every baby,but just remember,colic isn't forever.Babies can sense your stress.Sometimes you just have to walk out of the room for a few minutes.
