Reason not clear: Arthritic joints are often very sensitive to weather changes. Most times pain is in response to falls in barometric pressure but sometimes it is to humidity or cold. The exact reason for pain in response to cold is unknown.

Well,...: In cold weather, our blood vessels will constrict and that can lead to increasing arthritis symptoms with lack of the normal blood flow, etc.  Muscles are more likely to ache in the cold weather for similar reasons.  Stay warm and well "insulated" with the proper weather attire clothing, and hopefully your issues will improve.  Best wishes.

Muscle pain: It could be a pulled muscle. If you are a smoker it could be due to peripheral vascular disease. If you are s diabetic it could be NEUROPATHY . You need to be examined by a doctor

Nerve stimulation: It being cold enough to stimulate the nerves in that area to elicit a painful response.  There are different kinds of nerve receptors in our body to alert us to danger such as cold, hot, pressure, etc.  That is what they are there for.  They are merely doing their job. Be grateful that you have them.

Cold weather: If you expose your feet to extreme coldness, you risk tissue damage such as gangrene.  The safest thing would be to not subject your barefeet to such extremes in temperature.

Cold exposure: This may be a form of "pleurisy" or early bronchitis - either diagnosis is associated with inflammation of the airways and can be exacerbated by cold air exposure. People who smoke are most susceptible to these types of symptoms. Limit exposure to extreme temperatures and avoid smoking. If symptoms persist or worsen(especially fever or productive cough) I would pursue a formal evaluation with M.D.
